Nexus Auto Rentals – Cancellation Policy
We get it – plans change! Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair while keeping things simple for everyone. When you book with us, here's what you agree to:
1. When You Can Cancel for Free
- Standard bookings: Cancel anytime up to 24 hours before pickup with no fees.
- Same-day bookings: Cancel within 1 hour of booking for a full refund.
2. Late Cancellation Fees
- If you cancel within 24 hours of pickup (or after 1 hour for same-day bookings), we charge 50% of your rental cost (security deposit is still refunded).
3. Refunds
- Eligible cancellations get a full refund, minus a small 5% processing fee.
4. No-Show Policy
- Running late? Contact us ASAP to adjust your pickup time.
- If you don’t show up within 1 hour of pickup, we’ll cancel your reservation and charge a $50 no-show fee.
5. How to Cancel
- Call, Text, or email us.
- Phone cancellations must be confirmed by email for our records.
6. Exceptions
- Emergencies happen! For extreme situations (natural disasters, etc.), we’ll review case by case.
7. Prefer to Modify?
- Instead of canceling, ask about changing your reservation (subject to availability and possible fees).
8. Early Returns
- Returning the car early? Sorry, but we don’t offer partial refunds for unused rental time.
